I know nothing of Wolverine lore or the comic books, so I’m writing this with a self confessed degree of ignorance and constructing my opinions on the basis of the movie as a stand alone artefact. Midnight screening of The World’s End. That’s the dedication, that’s the hype, those are the hopes I had for this film. I was in love before I even met the stranger on this blind date.
